To enable multi-factor login, you must first register your authentication method.An authentication method refers to a tool or app that issues your OTP (One-Time Password) security code.By setting up two-step authentication, you can significantly enhance account security.
Which Authentication Method Should I Use?
Most users install Google Authenticator or Twilio Authy on their mobile devices.
You can freely choose the app you prefer.
Please note that some apps may require a paid subscription.
In this guide, we’ll show you how to set up authentication using Google Authenticator, the most common method.
Go to Add OTP Authentication on the Programmers/Monito page.(Account Management → Multi-Factor Authentication Management)
Install and launch the authentication app.Sign in with your Google account.
iOS: Install Google Authenticator from the App Store.
Android: Install Google OTP from the Play Store.
Tap Add Code in the app to open the QR code scanner.Scan the QR code displayed on the Programmers/Monito page.
Enter the code shown in your app into the OTP Code Input field on the Add OTP Authentication page.
Save your backup codes securely.If you’re unable to use your OTP app, you can log in using a backup code.Each backup code can only be used once.
Your OTP authentication setup is now complete.
When logging in, enter the code displayed in your app into the OTP input field to verify your identity.
Too Complicated to Use a Mobile Device?
If you prefer not to authenticate via mobile, you can use your browser to check OTP codes instead.
